DOVETAIL DRAWER BOX CONSTRUCTION AND QUALITY SPECIFICATIONS

STANDARD DRAWER SPECIFICATION

1. Factory Finished or ready for finish drawer boxes are fully assembled with dovetails sanded/finished after assembly.
2. Finished with 2 coats of Pre-catalyzed waterborne Lacquer, (Green Guard Certified Finish) for Factory finish choice for solid woods and Baltic birch material selections. UV finish only for all Pre-finished Baltic Birch material selections.
3. Measurements provided are outside dimensions of box.
4. Standard solid wood thickness 5/8” and plywood 15MM (+/- .07mm).
5. Upset of bottom is 1/2”. Standard bottom is ¼” thickness. (3/8” thickness available)
6. Bottom is let in all 4 sides completely hidden in dovetail joint.
7. Bottoms are stapled in with 1/2”, 19 gauge staples.
8. Top edges of drawer sides, front and back are radius 1/16”.
9. Sides are 1/16” less in overall height than front and back.
10. Tight fitting half blind English dovetails are 1” on center exposed on sides only.

DRAWER HEIGHT DIMENSION LIMITS:

• Hardwood thick: 1/8” increments (Best pricing is full inch, ¼” bottom thickness).
• Baltic birch plywood 15MM thick: 1/8” increments (Best pricing is full inch, ¼” bottom thickness).

DEFECTS: St. Vrain Dovetail Drawer, Inc. considers the front and back to be non-visual unless otherwise noted. We will allow defects such as filled knot, machine marks, chip out on the outside face. Wood material choices stated as Natural of Color grades will have both sap and heart grains mixed at will.

St. Vrain Dovetail Drawers are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Any drawers damaged during shipment will be replaced free of charge. Issues or defects must be reported within 1 week of receipt of your order. Once properly installed, St. Vrain Dovetail Drawers are guaranteed not fail under normal wear and use. Product replacement only includes the drawer box.
