Cherry Rustic | A unique look with many variations allowed. Pitch, mineral, sapwood, heartwood and knots are common. Color variations may range from white in the sapwood area to a deep red in the heartwood area. Variations size or percentage cannot be specified by the customer. Materials will be structurally sound, knots with voids will not allow light to show through. |
Cherry Natural | Grain color variations common within this species are allowed. This results in a mixture of sap, light heartwood and pitch pockets blend throughout. A small percentage of mineral will be allowed on the face and in profiled areas. Fine smooth grain texture. |
Cherry Select | Natural characteristics common within this species will be selected under close quality guidelines to provide as best uniform color as possible. A small percentage of mineral and pitch pockets will be allowed. Select coloring will be reddish brown to deep red heartwood with a fine grain and smooth texture. |
Maple (Hard) Natural | Grain color variations common within this species are allowed, which results in a mixture of sap (white) and heartwood (light to medium brown) throughout the product. A small percentage of mineral will be allowed on the face and in profiled areas. Fine smooth grain texture. |

Hickory Natural | Grain color variations common within this species are allowed, which results in a mixture of sap (white) and heartwood (brown to reddish brown) throughout the product. Coarse grain texture. |
Red Oak Natural | Grain color variations common within this species are allowed, which results in a mixture of sapwood and heartwood throughout the product. A small percentage of mineral will be allowed on the face and in profiled areas. Coarse texture with varied light to dark reddish brown color. |
Red Oak Select | Natural characteristics common within this species will be selected under close quality guidelines to provide as best uniform color as possible. Coarse texture with a pinkish red/brown color. |
Walnut Natural | Natural grain color variations common within this species are allowed which result in a blend of light sapwood to dark heartwood throughout. Medium coarse texture. |

White Oak Quartered | This species can be compared to select grade white oak with the only difference being the way it is cut at the sawmill. Quarter Sawn is achieved by cutting at right angles to the circumference of the tree producing a ray like look on the face of the lumber. Moderately coarse texture; light tan with a yellowish tint. |
White Oak Rift Select | This species can be compared to select grade white oak with the only difference being the way it is cut at the sawmill. Rift sawn is achieved by a cut that is midway between plain and quarter sawn. This cut gives each piece a thick pencil-line look otherwise known as a straight grain look. Moderately coarse texture; light tan with a yellowish tint. |

Knotty Pine | A unique look with many natural variations common within this specie will be allowed which result in a blend of white sapwood and reddish heartwood. Knots may be black or red in color throughout and will be structurally sound. Variations size or percentage cannot be pecified by the customer. A soft density, medium smooth texture. |
Select Pine | Natural characteristics common within this species will be selected under close quality guidelines to provide as best uniform color as possible. A soft density, even texture. Wide light yellow sapwood color. |
Paint/MDF panel PG maple frame | This grade utilizes paint grade wood stiles and rails with an MDF center panel. We recommend this combination for painted doors because the MDF center panel expands and contracts less than solid wood. Maple will be used for the hardwood frame. Wood frames may have large color variation with natural defects as they are sound. Putty fill is also acceptable. |
